Monopole Solutions in SU(2) Yang–Mills and Nonlinear Spinor Field Theory

چکیده

Monopole solutions in SU(2) Yang–Mills theory, which interact with massive nonlinear spinor fields, described by the Dirac equation, are obtained. These describe a magnetic monopole created spherical lump of fields. It is shown that obtained differ principle from ‘t Hooft–Polyakov so (a) it topologically trivial; (b) radial field decreases as r−3; (c) Higgs not necessary for its existence. demonstrated energy spectrum such system possesses global minimum, appearance due exclusively to nonlinearity This minimum can be considered mass gap, i.e., difference between vacuum and next lowest state. A similar was found regular equation this called “the lightest stable particle”.
